Kaldor's Tower of Doom (11') is a programmatic brass quintet in four movements, depicting the story of an adventuring party that enters the tower of the evil wizard, Kaldor. The piece was written specially for the Baylor University graduate brass quintet of 2024-2025. It features narration for each of the four movements, to be read by quintet members, or by a guest narrator. This piece is an excellent choice for children's concerts or outreach events.
